How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers who help us run the website, store data and send emails (for example, hosting, database and email delivery providers), but only so they can perform those services for us and subject to appropriate safeguards.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety or security of Drover, our users or others.

Overseas disclosure

Some of our service providers may store or process personal information outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries where their infrastructure is located. This includes our database provider and may include our email delivery provider.

Where we disclose personal information to overseas recipients, we take reasonable steps to ensure they handle it in a way that is consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Storage and security

Waitlist data is stored securely using industry-standard infrastructure. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If you believe your information has been compromised, please contact us promptly.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist information for as long as needed to manage the waitlist, communicate with you about Drover, and meet our legal obligations. If you ask us to delete your information and we no longer need it, we will take reasonable steps to do so.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us for access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you. You may also withdraw marketing consent or ask us to delete your waitlist entry, subject to any legal obligations we have to retain certain records.
