How it works

Paid on delivery. Not on their payment run.

  1. 01

    Book the load.

Add the job in Drover at your agreed rate. Your customer gets the invoice, and the load, documents and proof of delivery all live in one place.

  2. 02

Your customer pays before you roll.

Your customer pays up front, before pickup. You'll see it's paid before you turn a wheel, so you're never hauling on a promise.

  3. 03

    Paid when the job's done.

Upload proof of delivery. Once your customer confirms, the money lands in your bank within seconds, weekends included, where your bank supports instant payments.

Why Drover

Not a broker. Not a lender.

Freight factoring takes a 3–5% cut of your invoice and owns the debt. Drover doesn't. You invoice normally, get paid on delivery, and your customer pays up front.

  • Paid when delivery's confirmed.

Funds land in your bank account within seconds, weekends included, where your bank supports instant payments.

  • Built-in dispute resolution.

Futile pickups are sorted in Drover while the payment stays held, so you're not left out of pocket when it isn't your fault.

  • Your customer stays yours.

Drover doesn't buy your invoice or take over your customer relationship. You invoice, they pay, you're paid on delivery.

  • Terms for your customersComing soon

We're working with a finance partner so customers who need time to pay can apply for terms, while you're still paid on delivery.

On the waitlist

You're not the only one.

You've done the job, you've paid for the fuel, and now you're chasing the shipper for a payment that won't clear for another fortnight. Mate, the work's done. The money should be there. It shouldn't be this hard.
MarkOwner-operator · WA
Some of my customers are great payers. Some aren't. I know which ones I'd rather not touch but the work's there so you do it. I'd just like to know the money's coming before I put my drivers on the road.

Invoice breakdowns showing fuel as a separate item would help paying customers be aware of what transport actually costs to run. Freight isn't teleported. Real people with real and legal needs move it.

FAQ

The questions every carrier asks.

How do payments work?

You add the job in Drover at your agreed rate, and Drover issues the invoice to your customer in your business name. Your customer pays up front, before pickup, into the payment details on the invoice. Drover holds the payment against that load and releases it to your bank once delivery's confirmed.

When do I get paid?

When your customer confirms delivery. Once released, funds land in your bank within seconds, weekends included, where your bank supports instant payments.

Can I pay on terms?

Not at launch. We're working with a finance partner so shippers can apply for time to pay, and we'll share details before that feature launches.

How much does Drover charge?

2.5% + GST per load, or $5 + GST, whichever is greater, calculated on your ex-GST rate. Early access carriers pay 1.25% + GST for 6 months after launch, or $5 + GST, whichever is greater. Free to join, no subscription and no setup fee.

When does it launch?

We're launching Drover in 2026. Join the waitlist for early access. Carriers and shippers can both join. Early access pricing applies to carriers on every client they invoice.
